ABET Accreditation Program
The undergraduate program in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Materials, Metallurgical, Ceramics, and Similarly Named Engineering Programs. ABET (https://www.abet.org) accreditation confirms that the program prepares its graduates to begin professional practice at the entry level. The program has been accredited since 1996.
