Energy Storage Devices and Battery Laboratory
The group is focused on the modelling, design, production and characterization of materials for supercapacitors and secondary batteries based on Lead-Acid Ni–MH, Ag-Zn, Metal-air and Li–ion batteries and catalysts for OER/HER.

Materials Synthesis: Solid state, Hydrothermal, Solvothermal, Sol-gel, Sono-chemical, etc.
Equipment: Induction melting system, furnaces (open and atmosphere controlled), ball mills, hydrothermal reactors, microwave reactors, ultrasonicators, centrifuge, freeze dryer, ovens and filtration systems
Electrode and Battery Making:
Equipment: Slurry coater, calender, drying oven, glovebox, test cells
Electrochemical Characterization: GCPL, CV, EIS, PITT, GITT, DCA, DCS, RDE, RRDE
Equipment: Multichannel potentiostats, rotating electrode
