Partner university must have a Materials Engineering Department or a very close dicipline. Students must be at least 2nd grade students. Must courses cannot be substituted, only elective courses (TECHNICAL ELECTIVE (TE), NON-TECHNICAL ELECTIVE (NTE) or FREE ELECTIVE (FE)) can be substituted at METU upon return from Erasmus/Exchange. The course list is decided jointly by the Departmental coordinator and the student.
